With a voice that soars effortlessly through deep wells of soul, electrifying bursts of rock ‘n’ roll, and smooth, slow-burning R&B, the Alabama native captivates not just as a powerhouse vocalist but also as a searing guitarist and a thoughtful, eloquent songwriter. His breakout came with a viral cover of Ray Charles’ “Hit the Road Jack,” topping 500K views overnight. He went on to electrify audiences on America’s Got Talent and Showtime at the Apollo. Landers’ debut EP, Introducing…Lamont Landers dropped last year.
