Made by You: Huichol Yarn Art
Join us for a Huichol-inspired yarn art workshop. Creativity meets storytelling and native tradition through the vibrant Indigenous Mexican art form created by the Wixárika (Huichol) people. Participants will learn basic yarn painting techniques by applying glue to a canvas and arranging colorful yarn to create their own design inspired by the storybook The Journey of the Tunuri and the Blue Deer. This activity is beginner-friendly and children are welcome when accompanied by a parent who can help with glue and scissors. All materials will be provided!
