Celebrating culture and community
Juneteenth at Hub RTP returns on June 19, 2026, for an evening that honors history, celebrates culture and brings the community together through music, art and education. Rooted in the significance of Juneteenth, the event creates space for learning, reflection and joy while fostering meaningful connection across the Park and the region.
Join us for a block-party atmosphere designed for all ages bring the spirit of the holiday to life. This event will feature:
🎶 Live Entertainment on the Hub RTP stage, including beats from DJ Damu, a rap performance by the Bey Boys, and set from Acisse Jay and the Gents
🕺 Dance performances by Stage Door Dance Productions
👣 Line dancing instruction
🍔🍹 Food and drinks (alcoholic and n/a) from Hub RTP restaurants: Cheeni RTP & Nanny Goat
🚚 Additional food offerings from local food trucks: Bundts by Brenee, Fresh AF, Mike Nice Empanadas, Omggirllemonade, Safari Eatz, Same O Dame O’s, Tropical Delights Smoothies
📚 Community and educational booths provided by Park ERGs, Hub RTP businesses, and community partners
🎯 Yard games by Barnyard Affairs
🎨 Face painting by Paint Savvy
🪭 Lots of ways to stay cool, including a Cool Down & Sensory Zone provided by MAA Nixie, a shaded tent to enjoy your meal, a splash pad area for kids, free water stations, and misting fans
This is a free, multi-generational event that open to the public. Bring the whole family! We recommend bringing your own chair or picnic blanket. No tents, please.
